Democratic state Representative Cory Atkins of Concord recently held three public forums in her district to discuss Governor Deval Patrick’s proposal for tax increases to pay for investment in education and transportation. Atkins said residents attending the forums had mixed views on the proposal, which must be approved by the Legislature. Atkins encourages constituents unable to attend the forums to share their views by contacting her office at 617-722-2015 or by e-mailing her at cory.atkins@mahouse.gov. Atkins represents Acton, Carlisle, Chelmsford, and Concord.
