The Still River Post Office, serving a tiny village on the town’s western edge, will remain open despite the US Postal Service’s ongoing cutbacks, agency officials announced. Its hours of operation are from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays. The town’s main Post Office is off Ayer Road, near Route 2. The number of people living in Still River is not broken out from Harvard’s total population of 5,721, according to Town Clerk Janet Vellante.
