Meet Center School candidates Monday

Parents, school system faculty and staff, and other residents will have a chance to meet the two finalists for the Center School principal’s job during a public forum in the school cafeteria Monday starting at 6:30 p.m. Audience members will have a chance to ask questions and provide feedback to the district’s interim superintendent, Steven Hiersche, who will be filling the position. The finalists are Lauren Dubeau, principal at the Simonian Center for Early Learning in the Sutton school system; and Tim Kearnan, assistant principal at the Elmwood and Hopkins elementary schools in Hopkinton. A third finalist, Abigail Dressler, currently acting principal at John F. Kennedy Elementary School in Franklin, withdrew her name from consideration on Thursday, according to Kim Pulnik, human resource director for the Hopkinton public schools.
