    Andrew Melvin , Medfield: Foothill High made the trip from Santa Ana, Calif., and beat Wellesley, 13-2, before losing, 8-6, to the Warriors, who were led by two goals and an assist from Melvin.

    Marisa Opalinski , Arlington Catholic: The Cougars jumped out to a 4-0 start after Opalinski posted four goals and an assist in a 17-6 win over Shrewsbury.

    Ryan Quinn , Anthony Wyse , Newton North: The two seniors combined to pump in nine goals and dish out four helpers in a 19-14 win over Brookline.

    Luke Warner , Shrewsbury: The Colonials are 3-0, including a 10-7 triumph over Nipmuc Regional in which Warner scored three goals and three assists.
