Annual fishing derby at Trout Pond

The Wrentham Lions Club is holding its 21st annual fishing derby Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Trout Pond, behind the Department of Public Works facility on Taunton Street. The free event for children up to age 18 is intended to provide families with the chance to go fishing together; prizes will be awarded for the single largest trout caught by participants in three age categories.
