Fill out regional health survey

Local health organizations are collaborating on a community survey aimed at improving health and wellness services in the region, and are looking for local residents to submit their input by May 31. The survey’s questions cover such issues as the availability of affordable produce, whether there are adequate transportation options, and the range of health care options in the area. The survey sponsors will use the information to identify gaps in health care and any other emerging health issues, and then design programs around these findings. The survey sponsors will also conduct focus groups and gather other information to make sure a comprehensive assessment is provided. To take the survey in English, visit www.surveymonkey.com/s/MWCHNAE. The survey is also available in Portuguese (www.surveymonkey.com/s/CHNAP) and Spanish (www.surveymonkey.com/s/CHNAS). The survey is organized by the MetroWest Health Foundation, the Community Health Coalition of MetroWest, the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center, Marlborough Hospital, MetroWest Medical Center, the Southboro Medical Group, and area community health boards.
