New face on Board of Selectmen


Voters on Tuesday returned incumbent Fred Lucy to his seat on the Board of Selectmen, but ousted fellow incumbent Charles McGourty. He’ll be replaced by James David Quinn. Lucy was the top vote-getter among five candidates running for two seats on board, with 1,397. Quinn netted 1,261 votes, McGourty was next with 1,023, followed by Philip Dolan with 1,021 votes, and Susan Dunnell with 768 .
