The progress on an effort by Arlington, Bedford, and Lexington to develop ways to improve the Minuteman Bikeway will be discussed during an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Lexington Depot, 13 Depot Square in downtown Lexington. With funds from a state grant, the three towns have been working with consultant Toole Design Group on a proposal to improve markings and directions along the 11-mile corridor, connections and information in the communities, and safety at street crossings, among other issues. The consulting firm has used data collected by volunteers and the results of online questionnaires to shape its draft recommendations, which will be available for review on Sunday. Organizers will also be seeking feedback to help them fine-tune the final proposal. For more information, visit
