Walking tour will explore town’s economic legacy

The town’s Historical Commission is holding a walking tour focused on the history of the local economy Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. Commission member Jennifer Lecesse will lead the tour, which will look at the downtown commercial area, as well as the town’s rich history as a manufacturer of boots and shoes, electric clocks, and vanilla extract.
