The Board of Selectmen is seeking residents to serve on two newly created advisory study committees. The first group will revisit services provided and coordinated by the community substance abuse prevention program, Wayland Cares. The second panel will review post-employment expenses for town workers, including investment of funds, allocation of future funding requirements, and ways to reduce long-term liabilities. Residents interested in serving on one of the volunteer panels should send an e-mail or letter addressed to the Board of Selectmen at selectmen@wayland.ma.us or Town of Wayland, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778.
