Brookline

Forum on senior housing Wednesday

Town officials will host a follow-up forum exploring alternatives for providing housing for senior citizens at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Town Hall. The initial session was held in April to discuss whether Brookline is prepared to house and serve senior citizens over the next 20 years. This week’s meeting is being cosponsored by selectmen, the Council on Aging, the nonprofit Brookline Community Aging Network, and several other town agencies and boards. The forum will brainstorm options to house senior citizens, discuss the pros and cons of the various models, and consider potential actions by the town.
