Free workshop on special education


The Franklin Special Education Parents Advisory Council will hold a presentation on basic rights in special education Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the third-floor training room of the Municipal Building. The workshop will provide families with an introduction to their rights and responsibilities under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Massachusetts special education law, and the No Child Left Behind Act. The free workshop is being presented by the Federation for Children with Special Needs . For more information, visit the local council’s website, www.franklinsepac.org .
