Voters to choose new selectmen


In addition to voting in the special statewide election for US senator, Sudbury residents will be filling two new seats on the Board of Selectmen on June 25. Three candidates — Thaddeus T. Gozdeck, Eric D. Poch, and Charles C. Woodard — are vying for a two-year position, while Daniel A. DePompei and Leonard A. Simon are competing for a three-year term. Town Meeting last spring supported adding two seats to the three-member board, and the home-rule petition was approved by Beacon Hill last fall and finalized by voters in the annual election in March.
