Conservation land may be water source

Officials and local business owners are seeking a new public water supply for Lower Village this summer, which could resolve a water shortage that they say has stalled growth in the commercial district. A Town Meeting warrant article approved by voters this spring allows exploration of conservation land on Heritage Lane as a potential water source for the area.
