Free summer concerts at gazebo

The Medfield Employers & Merchants Organization is hosting a summer concert series at the town center gazebo near the Medfield Public Library. The concerts will be held Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. through Aug. 15, unless there is rain. If a concert is canceled due to weather, the library, at 468 Main St., will show a movie at 6:15 p.m. This week’s concert features the Jeri Bergonzi Quartet paying tribute to the jazz arrangements of Shirley Horn. Other groups scheduled to perform this summer include the Grass Gypsys on July 4, Songs for Ceilidh on July 11, and Acoustic Fire on July 18. For a full concert lineup and details on the bands, visit the community events tab on the merchant group’s website, www.medfieldmemo.org. The site will also post updates on weather cancellations.
