Lexington: The Lexington Bicentennial Band will perform marches, show tunes, Dixieland, and classical arrangements during its series of free summer concerts, 7:15 p.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 20 at the Hastings Park bandstand, Massachusetts Avenue and Worthen Road. Newton: The First Unitarian Society in Newton will offer the first of three tower bell concerts this summer at 7 p.m. Thursday, rain or shine. The public is invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic suppers to the church grounds at 1326 Washington St. The free series continues on July 25 and Aug. 20.

Watertown: “Cabaret Fest 2013 — The Strength Edition,” with proceeds to benefits the One Fund Boston, will feature performances by David Diamond, Joyce Friedman, Prudence Humphreys, Stephen Smith, Phil Kassel and Casey Thomas from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at First Parish of Watertown, 35 Church St. $15. 617-924-6143, www.bostoncabaret.org.
