Madison Parmeter , Assabet Valley Regional Tech: The sophomore tossed a complete game and struck out three in her team’s Division 3 state championship win — the first in school history — over St. Mary’s of Lynn, 5-2.

Morgan Parmeter , Assabet Valley: In the Aztecs’ 3-1 Division 3 state semifinal win over Mount Everett Regional, the senior third baseman scored the game-tying run in the seventh inning on an RBI single by younger sister Madison. She then knocked in the game-winner with a single of her own in the eighth.

Jill Powers , Milford: The freshman helped the Scarlet Hawks lock up their second straight Division 1 state title when she ripped an RBI double in the sixth inning to beat Agawam, 1-0.

Jack Sarnoski , Nashoba Regional: With a single in the eighth, the senior broke up Bridgewater- Raynham pitcher Mike Bruemmel’s no-hitter in the Division 1 state title game, but there was no comeback for the Chieftains, who fell, 4-0.

Shannon Smith , Milford: The Kentucky-bound senior saved her best for last, striking out 13 and retiring the last 19 batters she faced to beat Agawam in the Division 1 state title game.
