The community will celebrate Independence Day on Saturday, with the town’s annual parade beginning at 12:30 p.m. next to Town Hall on Main Street, and proceeding through Railroad Square and onto Tarbell Street. The parade will be followed by a celebration on the field behind Varnum Brook Middle School featuring a dance party and local vendors. Fireworks will end the evening.
