Library hosts summer reading challenge

School is out, but the Public Library of Brookline’s Summer Reading Challenge for teens and adults is just getting started. Participants will log the time they spend over the summer reading novels, nonfiction, comics, magazines, newspapers, online or listening to audiobooks, and become eligible to win weekly prizes in the form of gift certificates to local businesses, and two grand prizes awarded in September. The challenge is open to students heading into seventh grade and older and adults who live, work, or attend school in Brookline. Information about how to sign up can be found at the library and on its website, www.brooklinelibrary.org .
