Singing Trooper to open weekly concerts

The town’s popular series of free summer concerts begins Thursday with Dan Clark, the Singing Trooper, in a performance moved up to 5 p.m. in honor of the July Fourth holiday. The remainder of the concerts will start at 7 p.m. each Thursday through Aug. 1, and will feature local singer/songwriter Tim Gartland, the Mike Tarara Band, the Soul of Boston, and the Shana Stack Band.
