Farmers market starts July 11

The Shirley Center Farmers Market will kick off its summer season on Thursday on the town common. There will be stands selling fresh produce, meats, seafood, eggs, bakery items, jams and jellies, maple products, honey, cheese, flowers and crafts. The market will run every Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. throughout the summer; in September and October, the market will run from 3 to 7 p.m., or until dusk.
