Town officials have invited property owners whose land is near a river or stream or whose property is in the 100-year flood plain to attend an open house Tuesday to review proposed changes in flood hazard mapping. It will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. in the first-floor meeting room at the Department of Planning and Land Management building, at 141 Keyes Road. Staff members from both the Department of Planning and Land Management and the Public Works Department will discuss residents’ questions on how their property is affected by the proposed map changes. The map information, along with links to other Federal Emergency Management Agency information, is on the town’s website,, under “Flood Map Updates 2013.’’
