Rules of the aqueduct in Framingham

Instead of no-trespassing signs, new regulations have been posted along the first 1.1-mile section of trail that opened in Framingham last fall.

• Passive recreation only (e.g., walking, jogging, or bicycling). All other uses prohibited.

• Activity is restricted to the top of the aqueduct

• Trail is open from dawn to dusk.

• Alcohol is prohibited.

• Motorized vehicles are prohibited.

• All dogs must be leashed. Remove all pet waste.
