Food pantry seeking donations

The Norfolk Food Pantry, which operates from a small building behind Emmanuel Baptist Church on Route 115, is seeking nonperishable food items or monetary donations to purchase food. The pantry is in need of cereal, peanut butter, jelly, pasta sauce, macaroni and cheese, tuna, canned fruits and vegetables, rice crackers, canned beans, canned pasta, and cake mixes. School lunch and snack items are also needed. Toiletries, such as soap, toilet paper, shampoo, and toothpaste are also being sought. Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church office, or on Sundays in a collection box in the church hallway. The pantry, which serves all Norfolk residents in need, is open Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
