Openings for after-school helpers

The Recreation Department seeks candidates, both high school age and adult, to assist full-time staff in overseeing and supervising activities in the town’s after-school program for middle schoolers. Applicants must have strong communication skills and experience working with children. Current Red Cross first aid and CPR certification is desired. The hours are typically Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 until 5:30 p.m., Wednesday from 1 until 5:30 p.m., and Friday from 2:30 until either 5:30 or 7:30 p.m. Positions are expected to start late this month to prepare for the new school year.
