Town offers details on subdivision plan

Local planning officials are making available a sketch for a new subdivision on Walcott Street, the first development in at least five years to move through the permitting process, according to the town’s planning office. The weak real estate market in recent years had inhibited appetite for new developments. The subdivision plan heads before the Planning Board on Aug. 27 at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall.
