Food pantry seeks donations

The Medfield Food Cupboard is collecting donations of nonperishable food items and household supplies, which it distributes to local residents in need of assistance. Donations may be dropped off at the collection boxes at the Shaw’s grocery store in town, or at the Food Cupboard, which operates out of space at the United Church of Christ, 496 Main St. Items sought include canned fruit, vegetables, pasta, tuna, and chicken; cereal; peanut butter and jelly; apple sauce; juice; paper towels; toilet paper; shampoo; toothpaste; and razors or razor refills. Financial donations are also accepted to help pay for needed items. For more information, call 508-359-4958 or visit www.medfieldfoodcupboard.com.
