Learn to play the ukulele at library

Musician and teacher Amy Conley will hold two ukulele workshops, based on age groups, at the Lawrence Library on Sept. 3. Conley will provide ukuleles for participants, and will teach five chords that can be used to play hundreds of songs. Her class for ages 7 to 14, with the children accompanied by an adult, will start at 6:30 p.m., and it will be followed by a workshop for teens and adults at 7:30 p.m. To register, visit the library’s website, www.lawrencelibrary.org.
