Executive assistant opening draws a crowd


Christopher Sandini, the town’s finance director and interim executive assistant, is among the approximately 40 applicants for the job as Hudson’s top administrator. Members of the search committee plan to narrow the field down to around a dozen candidates and conduct interviews this month, then recommend several finalists for the Board of Selectmen to consider hiring. Joseph Durant, the board’s chairman, said he hopes to have someone in the position by Dec. 1. Paul Blazar retired as executive assistant on July 4.
