Library begins Sunday hours today

Starting this weekend, the Groton Public Library is open from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays, under a pilot project funded by a one-time state grant that will continue the schedule through the end of the year. Library officials hope the pilot program will encourage town leaders and residents to provide funding in the town budget to continue the expanded hours in the fall every year.
