Chamber names Shannon as new chief


The Brookline Chamber of Commerce has promoted Celinda Shannon to be its new executive director. Shannon, who served as the chamber’s director of strategic relationships and programs for the past two years; is replacing Harry Robinson, who left the business organization’s top job to take a teaching position at Wakefield High School. Shannon’s experience includes event planning for three Olympic Games, and years working in marketing with smaller entrepreneurial companies as well as her own marketing and consulting company.
