Help plant daffodils along Marathon route

Residents, businesses, and organizations are invited to help plant daffodils along the Boston Marathon route Saturday and next Sunday. The goal is to plant thousands of daffodils that will be in bloom along the Marathon route, which follows Route 135 through Ashland, by the time of the race in April. For more information on next weekend’s effort, e-mail Diane Roberts, president of the Ashland Garden Club, at dianetroberts@comcast.net.
