Annual Halloween parade on Oct. 25

The town’s annual Halloween parade will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., starting at Montenegro Square on Front Street. Parents are invited to parade alongside their children as they’re escorted by Ashland police and fire personnel to the David Mindess Elementary School, where a gathering offering prizes for the best costumes, goodie bags, and refreshments will be held in the gymnasium. Participants should bring canned or dry goods to donate to the town’s food pantry. For more information, visit the school district’s website, www.ashland.k12.ma.us.
