Apply for community preservation funds

The town’s Community Preservation Committee is accepting applications for funds for projects that support affordable housing, recreation, open space, or historical preservation efforts. The money is drawn from an annual property tax surcharge, with local funds supplemented by the state. Applications for funding are due to the Planning Department by noon on Jan. 3. The applications will be reviewed by the committee on Jan. 14, and members will vote on which projects to recommend for funding by Town Meeting in May.
