The Medway Historical Society will commemorate the 300th anniversary of the town’s founding with an open house Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at 223 Main St. The town was incorporated Oct. 25, 1713, and special early artifacts will be on display in the nonprofit group’s museum indicating how the first settlers survived, as well as a restored still-life painting by Anson Daniels, born in the town in 1813. The open house is free, although donations are accepted. For more information, visit the society’s website, www.medwayhistoricalsociety.org.
