Applications are due by 2 p.m. Nov. 5 for a lottery that will distribute affordable housing units in Arlington 360, a new 164-unit apartment community on the site of the former Symmes Hospital, off Summer Street (Route 2A) at 4105 Symmes Circle. The complex has 26 units set aside for households with an annual income at or below 80 percent of the area’s median income, and nine earmarked for moderate-income households, at or below 120 percent of the area’s median income. Rents for the affordable units for low-income households are $1,093 for a studio, $1,243 for a one-bedroom apartment, $1,364 to $1,381 for a two-bedroom, and $1,496 to $1,518 for a three-bedroom. Rents for the middle-income units are $1,867 for a studio, $2,127 for a one-bedroom, $2,359 to $2,376 for a two-bedroom, and $2,602 for a three-bedroom. Utilities are not included. The lottery for eligible applicants will be held on Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. in the Arlington Senior Center, 27 Maple St. The first apartments will be ready for occupancy immediately after the lottery.
