Friends of the Old Burying Ground will recount stories and host a hunt for historic graves in the town’s oldest cemetery Sunday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The free family event will include storytelling about the cemetery’s inhabitants and the gravestones bearing names familiar in the community, such as Boylston, Devotion, and Pierce, for being attached to local streets and schools. Costumes are welcome for the event, which will also feature the annual All Hallows Scavenger Hunt for historic graves at the Old Burying Ground, at Walnut and Chestnut streets.
