The Medfield Lions Club is holding its fifth annual chowder fest cook-off from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Center at Medfield on Ice House Road. For $8, participants can sample chowder from six local establishments — Noon Hill Grill, the Ice House at Kingsbury, Basil Restaurant, Zebra’s Bistro and Wine Bar, Roche Bros., and J&L Catering — and vote for their favorites. Rolls will be provided by Blue Moon Bagel Cafe, and coffee and soda will be served. The event’s proceeds will benefit the Friends of Seniors Inc.
