Board hires new executive assistant


Selectmen last week chose Thomas Moses, Lowell’s chief financial officer, as Hudson’s new executive assistant, nearly four months after Paul Blazar retired from the position. The appointment is subject to successful contract negotiations. “I was impressed with his quiet confidence and competence,” said Joseph Durant, chairman of the Board of Selectmen. “He knows municipal finance. I think he will do well as a manager.”
