Regional 911 center opens at Devens


On Tuesday, the Nashoba Valley Regional Emergency Communications Center began operating at Devens, the former Army base. The center is now handling all 911 calls from Harvard, Devens, Lunenburg, and Lancaster. It is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by nine full-time public safety dispatchers.
