The Senior Center is holding a mercury recovery and disposal program to help residents remove the toxic material from their homes. Kaz Inc. is donating digital fever thermometers that can be exchanged for thermometers or other devices that contain mercury, such as compact fluorescent light bulbs, which pollute the environment if disposed of improperly.
