The South Brookline Senior Social and health officials will host a free blood pressure screening and a talk on senior nutrition Friday. The blood pressure screening is being sponsored by Brookline’s Public Health Department, and will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the public library’s Putterham Branch at 959 West Roxbury Parkway. State Representative Ed Coppinger, Democrat of West Roxbury, whose district includes Brookline Precincts 14, 15 and 16, will be providing box lunches for all attendees.
