‘Small Works’ exhibit at Arsenal Center for the Arts

The annual “Small Works” show, which features artwork no larger than 12 by 12 inches, will run through Dec. 29 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts . The works are geared toward a holiday shopping audience, as each piece is priced under $300, organizers said. There will be a reception on Nov. 11 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. On exhibit will be nearly 100 pieces created by 30 artists working in a wide variety of media, including paintings, drawings, photography, conceptual sculptures, and mixed-media works, organizers said. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday noon to 6 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public. The Arsenal Center for the Arts is at 321 Arsenal St., and offers free parking.
