Brookline Access Television has changed its name to Brookline Interactive Group, or BIG, to emphasize the breadth of its media services, from original programing to media classes and personalized technology help. Executive director Peter Zawadzki announced the name change in a press release Feb. 1, saying that the 30-year-old nonprofit organization is also launching a new website, . Founded in 1984 as part of an agreement to support community television and locally produced content, Brookline Interactive Group broadcasts original programs and documentaries along with town government meetings and sporting events.
