Economic Development Corporation has new leadership


Richard Tomanek, general manager of the Embassy Suites hotel in Marlborough, has been named the new chairman of the Marlborough Economic Development Corporation’s board of directors. During its annual meeting late last month, the group’s board also elected five new members: Greg Mitrakas of the Law Offices of Gregory G. Mitrakas, Sem Aykanian of Aykanian Law, David K. McCay of the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce, Joe Santos of L&S Boule Insurance, and Chad Yesue of Joy-Den Jewelers. The Economic Development Corporation is a nonprofit public-private partnership working to foster economic development, job growth, and community revitalization and expansion in the city.
