gAME OF THE WEEK

Medfield vs. Millis girls, Friday at 6:30: The last time Medfield lost to a Tri-Valley League opponent in the regular season was in February 2010, at Millis. That’s 62 TVL regular-season games without a loss. (Medfield fell to rival Hopkinton in the Division 2 South quarterfinals in 2012.) Senior captains Lauren Petit (13.9 points, 4.6 assists, 4.3 steals per game), Kristin Fechtelkotter (15.1 points, 4.5 rebounds), and Kate Thomas (7.6 points, 6.2 rebounds) could guarantee four years of undefeated league play when they host Millis, but the Mohawks’ versatile junior Amy Assad (17.9 points per game) won’t make it easy for them.
