League of Women Voters sponsoring candidates’ night

The Lexington League of Women Voters is sponsoring a candidates’ night Thursdayfrom 7 to 9:30 p.m. to give Town Meeting and town office candidates a chance to present their views on issues and field questions from residents. The event will take place at Clarke Middle School at 17 Stedman Road. Voters will meet with Town Meeting candidates to discuss ideas at 7:15 p.m. in assigned classrooms. At 8 p.m., those candidates will gather in the school cafeteria to further discuss ideas over refreshments. At 7:45 p.m., candidates for Board of Selectmen, Planning Board, School Committee, Housing Authority, and Town Moderator will share their views in the school auditorium, followed by a question-and-answer session.
