Science and technology programs for children and adults

The Bellingham Public Library is holding a series of programs this month as part of its Shaking up STEM! initiative. On Tuesday, at 4:15 p.m., nine children will be invited to conduct scientific experiments, and on Feb. 25, at 4:15 p.m., children can take part in “tech time,“ using littleBits electronic building blocks and MaKey MaKey invention kits. For those in high school or older, there will be a training workshop on three-dimensional printing Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to noon and Feb. 24, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Registration is requested; to sign up, call the library at 508-966-1660 or visit the library’s website at www.bellinghamlibrary.org
