Wayland seeks nominations for citizen award

The Wayland Public Ceremonies Committee is seeking nominations for this year’s Lydia Maria Child Award. The award is given out each year to a citizen or a volunteer organization that has contributed to the town’s governance, the community’s quality of life, or served important needs of residents. Nominations must be received by March 15. Prior nominations are carried forward and do not need to be resubmitted for reconsideration. The name of the nominee and reason for nomination should be sent to Richard P. Turner, chairman, Wayland Public Ceremonies Committee, 7 Nob Hill Road, Wayland 01778-2216 or by e-mail to rickpt@verizon.net.
