Zoning Board of Appeals approves special permit for 385 The Great Road

At its most recent meeting, the Zoning Board of Appeals approved a special permit for construction of a 3,600-square-foot property that will contain a bank and retail space on the former Travelodge site at 285 The Great Road. The special permit is required because of the change in intended usage of the site. The property owners agreed to a small number of stipulations regarding traffic management into and out of the parking lot as put forth by the zoning board, based largely on a plan previously approved by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
